The many benefits of carpet

    • Providing warmth and comfort

Sumptuous and soft, carpet retains warm air much longer than other flooring types keep you warm and cosy during colder months and conserving energy in your home. It also provides acoustic benefits, absorbing sounds and helping to keep your home a peaceful sanctuary.

    • Wellbeing properties

Often recommended to prevent back pain and injuries to joints, the soft and springy fibres of carpet have a cushion-like effect and the surface adapts itself to your feet, balancing body weight evenly on the joints.

    • Non-Slip

Carpets put health and safety first by providing a better foothold than smooth and hard flooring materials and adding adhesive friction which makes slips and trips much less likely (it also provides a softer landing should an accident occur).

    • Hides dirt and wear

Carpets – particularly patterned carpets – hide dirt and wear much more easily than its other flooring counterparts. While it does require vacuuming and a little TLC on occasion, it’s not as high maintenance as some other flooring options.

    • Easy to install

Carpet doesn’t require too much preparation work prior to installation, and this means it tends to be easier, faster, and - in most cases - cheaper to install than other types of flooring.
